When: Friday 2nd November 2012

Concorde 2 proudly presents applesauce, Brighton’s brand new club night featuring the biggest names in disco, house, electro and techno from around the world.

Gracing the stage at the launch party they have a true pioneer of electronic music in the shape of France’s Vitalic, along with a DJ set from Brisbane’s finest, Loops of Fury. Front Bar: Electric Playboys takeover.

French electro-techno wizard Vitalic will release his eagerly anticipated 3rd studio album ‘Rage Age’ on 5th November. With the new album Vitalic has taken his specific vision of electronic music one step further, concentrating how the music will translate into a live show. To give you taster of the album, you can find a free download of the aptly named ‘No More Sleep’.

Pascal Arbez (Vitalic) decided to make music after hearing Daft Punk’s “Rollin’ & Scratchin'”, and a chance meeting with musician The Hacker at Laurent Garnier’s techno temple “Rex” led Vitalic releasing his hugely successful “Poney” EP in 2001. Like all true pioneers, Vitalic has continued to redefine the genre ever since. Armed with projectors, screens, a live drummer and a keyboard player, Vitalic will be bringing his extraordinary LIVE show to Concorde2 on Friday 2nd November 2012 to launch Concorde2’s brand new clubnight applesauce!

Australian producers Loops of Fury’s history of remixes and collaborations reads like a Who’s Who of electronic music (2manyDJs, Steve Aoki, Moby, Plump DJs – to name a few…). Their high energy DJ set will lead you down Loops of Fury’s musical path; ‘the place where Rave, Electro and Techno meet!’ Magical.
