September sees the return of the Autumn Harvest as part of Brighton and Hove Food Festival, just one of the twice yearly celebrations of the best food and drink from Brighton and beyond supporting the food and hospitality industry throughout the year through a variety of events.

The festival presents a platform for local food related businesses, producers and restaurants to promote their food and drink and meet potential business partners and contacts to help them grow.

Make Your Case

Sample wine blind whilst wine experts ‘sell’ their wine to you in 3 minutes but here’s the catch – they can’t mention the grape, price or country of origin! You then score for presentation and taste – the wine with the highest score at the end of the night is declared our champion!

Big Sussex Market

A huge market that attracts over 40,000 people every year making it one of the biggest local food events in the UK! Over 80 growers, producers and restauranteurs showcase the best Sussex food and drink.

Brighton and Hove Restaurant Week

Restaurants across the City create special dishes and offer exclusive deals. Participating restaurants include – Boho Gelato, The Chilli Pickle, The Coal Shed, Graze Restaurant, The Hove Kitchen, Indian Summer, L’Eglise, Moshimo, Pub du Vin, Sam’s of Brighton and Terre a Terre plus many more. Churchill Square Live Food Kitchen and Farmers Market

Alongside the Farmers Market, The Live Food Kitchen presents a day of cookery demos. Local restaurateurs and chefs will be preparing simple dishes using fresh local ingredients – many of which you’ll find each week at the market. Lots of fun, interactive events – with plenty of tasters!

Brighton Mix Off Cocktail Competition

Mixologists from across Brighton & Hove submit their own cocktail creations and a panel of experts will select their favorite three for the grand finale held in the SEA LIFE aquarium. As you sample the creations on offer, you get the opportunity to tip your favorites with our special tokens. The drink with the most tokens at the end of the night will be crowned Mix Off winner 2013!

Brighton Beer and Cider Festival

Sussex’s finest breweries and cider producers will be showcasing over 40 beers and 10 ciders, plus a selection of award-winning Sussex wines, and spirits from the new Sussex Black Down distillery with a Sussex hog roast and live music.

An audience watch diners squirm as then work their way through many courses of unusual and bizarre food and drink sourced from around the world.
