Hip-hop, funk and jazz fusion band The Herbaliser was conceived in the early 90s by Jake Wherry and Ollie Teeba. Having released their first album ‘Remedies’ on Ninja Tune in 1995, the West London duo expanded their live line-up to a nine-piece in the late 90s, taking the festival circuit by storm all around the world.
During the next decade, The Herbaliser continued to release records to critical acclaim, and collaborating with major artists such as Roots Manuva, MF Doom and Phi Life Cypher to name a few.
To quote The Herbaliser, their 7th studio album ‘There Were Seven’ (2012) brought a darker sound with “15 slabs of super heavy, psychedelic, beat-laden, post-hip-hop audio”, and this live show will undoubtedly showcase the band at their absolute best.
