.One of Europe’s biggest veggie events VegfestUK Brighton returns to the South Coast for the 5th year running for a 2 day fiesta of all things veggie at Hove Town from 11AM (Free)
.The Blind Tiger is hosting the Afriganza Festival from 14-17th March, a celebration of African music, the music it has inspired and the hybrid sounds of Afrobeat.
Saturday:
.Join them at ONCA Gallery for an evening of Ice Poetry, featuring award winning poets Nancy Campbell, Hugh Dunkerley and John McCullough. From 7PM (£5)
.London to Brighton Bike Ride: annual fundraising bike ride from Clapham Common down to Madeira Drive.
.PARKIN’SON: two generations, Father and Son, confront each other on stage, telling the story of their relationship through their two, very different bodies: A 62 year-old therapist with no dance experience and a 31 year-old choreographer. The Basement Art 8.30PM. (£10/ £8 CONCS)
.Woodwind Learn to Play Day at Happy Cell. It is a free taster music lessons, across a huge range of instruments from guitars, pianos and drums to ukuleles, saxophones and bassoons. .A Pulso – The Sound of Words: two sensorial hours where participants will develop an awareness of physicality, movement and space. Brighton Dome, 10AM (£12)
