Our picks for all weekend:

.The subject for this years Brighton Sand Sculpture Festival will be based around the theme of Music. With Brighton being a music loving city, this subject seems a perfect choice for the 2013 festival.
.Brighton University Drama Society Presents: MORTat Sallis Benney Theatre. This mortally funny dark fantasy comedy follows the tale of how one hopeless boy gets an unexpected apprenticeship which doesn’t go quite according to plan.
.Ian Hodgson is known for his skills with graphite on paper. For his show at ink_d Ian has produced a set of new work based on boundaries and territories.


.Record Store Day – A national event whereby participating independent record shops will stocking hundreds of limited edition releases on vinyl & cd, available instore only on the day. Celebrate it at Resident Music.
.Cider Festival at Ancient Mariner. They have live music all day starting at 1pm right up to 10pm from a selection of our favorite bands. A BBQ will be going from 12pm – 10pm with lots of cider and apple influenced dishes, yummy.
.A Clockwork Orange at Duke of York’s Picturehouse. In a futuristic Britain, a gang of teenagers go on the rampage every night, beating and raping helpless victims.


.Around 350 Jaguar cars from across this iconic car’s range and history take a leisurely ride from London via a few beauty spots on the prescribed route to Madeira Drive, Brighton.
.Swallowsfeet is a remarkable new collaboration between nine cutting edge choreographers and 33 performers and dancers drawn from the most celebrated dance colleges in the UK.
.An evening of Songs and Stories:”Regency Voices: from Jane to Victoria”, are five dramatised readings from the Regency period, all are authentic and have a Brighton connection.
