Lots of great events to enjoy this November Weekend in Brighton. With music festivals, the re-opening of the Pavilion ice rink, craft fairs, great gigs, comedy, dancing, club nights, theatre and cinema.

All Weekend

Colour Out of Space Festival – The penultimate weekend of one of UK’s leading festivals of experimental and exploratory music returns for its sixth edition with an expanded programme that will run throughout Brighton in venues, galleries, village halls and outdoors.

Royal Pavilion Ice Rink – The South East’s most beautiful winter ice rink re-opens this weekend until January 19th in its fourth year on the Royal Pavilion’s Eastern lawns in Brighton.

Making it Locally, Selling it Globally – a showcase exhibition to celebrate the work of some of Brighton’s finest designers and makers. This selling exhibition will include textiles, lighting, ceramics, homewares, musical instruments and much more all at Gallery 40.

Subversive Design – From high fashion to high street consumerism, cheeky ceramics to controversial chairs, provocative lamps to ‘rubbish’ jewellery, this major exhibition at Brighton Museum subverts your preconceptions and challenges your relationship with objects you use on a daily basis.

Brighton Christmas Gift Fair Spectacular – Over 150 indoor and outdoor stalls at Brighton Racecourse offering a superb range of Christmas gifts. Find stocking fillers, Christmas decorations, festive food & drink, stunning jewellery, ceramics, glassware, interior & home accessories, contemporary designs, beauty & fashion, vintage gifts, handmade crafts, traditional toys, children’s gifts, gardening gifts, gadgets and more!

Brighton Swing Thing – A friendly and welcoming night at The Loft, of vintage music from the 30s to the 50s, with top DJs and an absolute beginners lindy hop taster dance class kicking off the evening.Plus swing band Flash Mob Jazz will be performing.

Laughing Horse at The Quadrant – The Big Saturday night comedy show in Brighton, with a top selection of comics, including: Andrew Watts , Richard Todd, Michael Mooney , Angus Dunican and compere Sami Stone.

Lout Presents: Brighton Rocks – A showcase of local bands at Sticky Mike’s Frog Bar with Mano’s Daughter (atmospheric synth pop), Tied To The Mast ( Alternative), Caucasian Mountain Dog and Rainslicker.

Sundae Club – A ‘Pirates and Adventure’ themed family event with a theatre show, film at Dukes@Komedia, crafty workshops and a live band.

Family Ents Presents: Blancmange‘Happy Families’ Tour – Pioneering 80’s synth duo Stephen Luscombe and Neil Arthur are quoted as being a major influence on new wave electro acts such as Hot Chip and La Roux. Come and relive the heyday of the synthpop/new romantic era at Concorde2.

Morlington Mysteries – Enjoy supper and silly sleuthing shenanigans at Emporium with 368 Theatre Company who present a murderous soap opera, challenging you to solve the crime and win a bottle of bubbly.

Strange Factories – A unique and immersive live cinema experience that places you right at the heart of a haunting film. For one night the Duke of York’s Picture House will be transformed into a dark and magical place where viewers will lose themselves in the madness and terror of haunted cinema.

Recovery – Brighton’s longest running reggae night lives on at the Fishbowl. DJ Cut La Vis brings you the choicest cuts and mash-ups to see your weekend out in style.
