Akaakaroad Cuban New Year’s Eve  – 31 December
Line-up: Martyn, Eliphino, South London Ordnance b2b Tessela + more! The arches are dedicated to what they do best: quality, interesting, forward thinking electronic music and packed full of talent. Downstairs will be transformed into what can only be described as “Tony’s office” while the Garage will be decked out as its own slice of Havana with sounds supplied by some special guests to be announced. Expect full cuban style decor, Cigar / Prosecco happy hour, Cuban cocktail menu and the best sounds and vibes around. Fancy dress encouraged, they want to see everything from Rumba and Salsa dancers to Che Guevera’s, Scarface and Caribbean themes. Born Bad New Year’s Hop – 31 December
For 9 years Born Bad has been rocking Brighton’s creatures from the black leather lagoon, super vixens, switchblade sisters, hot-rod heads and flat-tops! Resident DJ’s Steph, Duncan, Jon and Jim will be knocking out vintage rock’n’roll, surf, trash, swing, blues and jive, accompanied by B-Movie projections. “…renowned for its quality excursions into the seedier, clammier corners of rock’n’roll” The Guardian Guide. Ipop New Years Eve Special – 31 December
Dance into 2013 with a non-stop shuffle of the biggest floor-fillers from the last five decades, and we are talking pure, unadulterated pop. The ipop! Djs have filtered and refined the last 50 years into the perfect soundtrack to your night. Free to Studio Krater ticket holders. Venue: Komedia 11pm. £10

IT IS STILL 1985 GHOSTBUSTERS NEW YEARS EVE – 31 December
The legendary 80s party ‘IT IS STILL 1985’ presents a VERY special one off event as ‘1985’ goes GHOSTBUSTERS. Not only will your New Years Eve be filled with awesome sounds of the 80s but the venue & night is going to be completely themed as though you are entering into The Ghostbusters movie itself. They have a whole host of VERY special surprises planned…all the way from the Stay Puft Marshmallows through to the pink mood slime this will be a night you will NEVER forget! Warehouse + Motel Tropica NYE party – 31 December
Warehouse teams up with Motel to bring you a line up so hot it’s almost tropical! Eats Everything, Huxley and Dusky headline the club which is running till 7am! Support from Neal Schtumm & Charles Green. Upstairs in the bar Doctor’s Orders will be spinning very own brand of classic funk and soul. Outside on the terrace they have a few special surprises planned as well! Venue: Audio 10pm. £18/£20

NYE 2013 at FunFair Club – 31 Dcember
They have a shimmery, shiny ray of light for those searching for a NYE party filled with incredible fun and amazing value for money. Music will be played by their favorite Djs Jo Hotbam and Dj Rich Pack – A cross-genre mix from The Cure to T- Rex, Mark Ronson to Fleetwood Mac plus re-releases of Bowie and The Stones to remixes of Aretha Franklin and Calvin Harris. Entry includes cocktails on arrival, goodie bags filled with party props, open bar including: house, spirits and mixers, beer, wine and select shots all night; mind blowing ‘Magical’ entertainment; party snacks during the evening; meat raffle with a ‘New Year’s Day Hangover Hampers’; bubbly and glitter cannon at midnight. Venue: FunFair Club 10pm. £55 standard

Circus Fantasia – 31 December
Circus Fantasia returns to Latest Music Bar with an interactive NYE masked ball spectacular! NEW YEARS EVE 90’s GLADIATOR PARTY – 31 December
This year they are doing what no one has done before. They are going back to the 90’s and recreating everyone’s favourite show GLADIATORS!! You will see the likes of Jet, Shadow, Rhino, lighting & maybe even Urika behind the bar. You might even see a Travelator or two. There will be games, competitions and leotards galore and will be partying well into the night. Venue: Mash Tun 8pm. Free

The Garden House Party – 31 December
After last years success, their lovely friends from The Garden Festival have decided to come back to Brighton and host the Garden House Party yet again. A small and intimate affair by the sea side, The Garden House party is limited to 350 people so they’ll be less queues and more dancing. The venue is transformed into a house for the night to create an old school party atmosphere with music from Psychemagic, Ron Basejam, Joe 90 (Futureboogie), Dean ‘Sunshine’ Smith & Bobby Beige. New Years Eve: Space Party – 31 December
Galactic experience at the Ancient Mariner: expect aliens, martians, craters, stars, planets and much much more!!! Get sucked deep into space with their ‘black hole shot’! The Digital NYE & Blah Blah Blah After Party feat Julio Bashmore – 1 January
It might seem counterintuitive for a producer to detach themselves from one of the planet’s most thriving music scenes, but in the case of Julio Bashmore, that’s exactly what he did growing up in bass music hotbed, Bristol. You see, Julio’s first love is house music. And operating just on the peripheries of the city’s scene has allowed him to quietly cultivate a take on the genre unlike any other. Venue: Digital 3am

CRITICAL SOUND BRIGHTON returns for New Years Afterparty Event – 1 January
Kasra and the Critical team are heading to Brighton after their massive warehouse party in London, for what will surely be a memorable way to see in 2013! Please note that the closing time will be at least 9am but possibly later due to Life’s 24 hr license!
