We’ve got 2 pairs of standard tickets and one pair of VIP tickets to give away for Shakedown Festival in July!

Shakedown returns to Brighton with a new date in the heart of Summer on the 19th July and a new location in the beautiful surroundings of Waterhall Park Brighton.

Headlining the main stage will be the legendary Basement Jaxx, one of the UK’s most famous and most loved acts, who will bring their iconic full live show to Shakedown – an all-out sensory assault featuring live musicians, an army of singers and dazzling visuals. Expect incredible performances of their back catalogue of classics including Red Alert, Romeo and Where’s Your Head At?  Joining them on the main stage will be fellow London duo Groove Armada with a high octane DJ set and breakthrough act Gorgon City. Kidnap Kid and DJ EZ have also been confirmed.

The Supercharged Arena returns once again in 2014 with an awesome line-up of bass-driven DJs. After providing the stand-out set for the past three years, the resident king of Shakedown, BBC Radio 1 legend Zane Lowe, returns once more. Next up is drum and bass overload, RAM record’s own Wilkinson who has quickly become one of the biggest names on the scene with productions like Afterglow.  Representing Brighton is Shogun label manager and Radio 1’s Mr. Drum n’ Bass himself, Friction.  DJ Zinc is a name synonymous with bass and breakbeat, and will also play in the Supercharged Arena, along with hip hop dubstep legends Foreign Beggars.  They will be joined by Radio 1’s carnival queen B Traits, rising star Hannah Wants, and Brighton’s own Dismantle and Primitive People

The third stage is Audio presents Area 10 which is headlined by the current king of house music, MK (Marc Kinchen).

The rest of the Audio stage reads like a who’s who of house music right now. Co-founder of Hot Creations and member of Hot Natured, Lee Foss, is confirmed as well as Huxley, Riva Starr, Treatment’s own Tom Frisco and James Moss, and two of Brighton’s best loved DJs – Audio residents Charles Green and Neal Schtumm.
