Brighton’s hottest restaurant specialising in grilled meats and fish has pulled out all the stops to create an especially tempting menu for you and a loved one this Valentine’s. A Bloody Valentine cocktail will be sure to start the night off with a bang, followed by a selection of mouth-watering starters including slow cooked beef short rib, flame grilled mackerel or a cauliflower veloute with truffle. If that hasn’t caught your attention, the mains certainly will: rib-eye steak with truffle butter & beef dripping chips, half grilled lobster or porterhouse steak to share are among the choices. And what better way to finish a romantic evening than a gorgeously gooey chocolate fondant? Their quality produce, relaxed and intimate atmosphere and friendly staff will make sure this special occasion is one you won’t forget.

Valentines Day Brighton64 Degrees

Since opening in October 2013 64 Degrees has rapidly become the new go to social dining hotspot in Brighton. In 2014 they were voted in as number 36 in the National Restaurant Awards 100 List.

Created by chef owner Michael Bremner, the philosophy is that the food rules, the kitchen is the heart of the restaurant, the chefs are its lifeblood and centre of all the action.

Working with a network of local artisan suppliers the menu changes to reflect the seasons and offers an ever evolving menu of smaller dishes, specifically designed so that you can sample and discover a range of flavours, tastes and textures, share with others and enjoy the spirit of communal dining.

For Valentine’s the restaurant will be offering a couples tasting menu.

The CyclistAt The Cyclist the aim is to strip down traditional dining and find something more honest. The focus is seasonality, simplicity and freshness, it’s about how food is found, grown, cooked and eaten. With a focus on local suppliers and the freshest ingredients, The Cyclist offers fish from Brighton and Newhaven Fish and meat from Handcross Village Butchers. Other local suppliers include Caroline’s Dairy sorbet and ice cream, Home Cakery bakes and Southdowns Water. With a family history in wine, The Cyclist know their stuff and each wine has been very carefully selected.
