We Love Brighton – in partnership with – brings you a monthly round-up of the best pop-up restaurants Brighton has to offer. This month, our tasty chef talents have some really special suppers on the menu to help you warm up and enjoy some sizzling social nights this Autumn. So get ready for the best dinner dates in town with the help of a pop-up dining adventure this November. With meals to help you travel global flavours taking you cross-continent, we have the perfect night out for you.


Calabria to the Caribbean Feast

Enjoy a food journey starting with the robust, strong and spicy flavours of Calabria in the south of Italy and travels on to the fresh, zesty and Creole flavours of Venezuela. Enjoy traditional home cooked dishes and some unique flavours from the Mediterranean and the Caribbean. Your host, Morella, says: “I’m a home cook that enjoys cooking good wholesome BIG FLAVOUR foods. If you’re looking for new and exciting flavours then my dinners are your place with my exciting southern Italian and Venezuela menus!”

Maharani Taster Menu

A selection of regional Indian specialities prepared from scratch for you in the Lanes area of Brighton. Featuring dishes not usually seen on Indian restaurant menus, this is food that is very popular on the subcontinent. Everything is prepared from scratch including the chutneys. Your host Deccan Tiffin says: “Choose up to four exciting plates from: Awadhi Kababs from North India, street food from Mumbai, Chaat from Delhi and Idlis from South India – finish off with divine Phirni, all for £25! Two additional dishes for £5 each will be available for purchase on the day.”

Italian Supper by the Sea

Enjoy a delicious Italian seaside supper full of flavours and textures in a house near Hove lagoon. Eat delicious antipasto such as cured meats, buffalo mozzarella, broccoli with pine nuts, baked figs and foccacia then move on to spaghetti vongole or beef ragu and tiramisu. Your host Michael spent three years travelling abroad and started to learn about cooking during this time. Now a regular supper club host, he says: ‘I just love making people happy with the food I made for them. I also love the social aspect of making food and meeting like-minded people who share the same interests and passions as me.’
