As well as having previously organized many events at the North Laine, including the Mini Fringe Festival, she also brings experience from her time in Edinburgh where she managed a Fringe venue for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Here’s what she had to say about her time at the North Laine

“Getting to put on fantastic performers from Brighton and further afield was a great experience, and seeing people really get on board and embrace something quirky and out of the ordinary was pretty special.”

This is a passion she plans to bring with her as she hopes to breathe new life into the venue with a diverse range of live music and DJ’s as well a broad range of independent performance with many events mixing both the pub and the theatre together.

Some of the DJ’s on offer include Soul Casserole, Beat Burger, DJ Kool Hertz , Tropikal and Iced Gems as well as a residency from Normanton Street and nights promoting new talent.

The pub will also be launching a new menu which will include an all day breakfast menu and simple food like French Onion grilled cheese sandwiches and delicious meat, cheese and veggie platters. You will even be able to get popcorn to take into the theatre!

Overall we are looking forward to what Hannah has in store and welcome her to her new role at a much loved venue.
