VegfestUK Brighton 2015 – Veggie Treats Galore!
One of Europe’s most popular veggie food and lifestyle shows VegfestUK will return to the South Coast on March 28th- 29th 2015 at the Brighton Centre with around 10,000 visitors expected over 2 days!
Explore over 160 stalls with dedicated areas for product sampling, 12 handpicked caterers and 3 all day licensed bars, plus a Food Village, a Hemp Expo, UK Vegan Comedy Festival, a Global Food Sustainability Conference, a Party Political Conference and a LifeWell Hub on top of dozens of talks, cookery demos, kids cookery classes, films, performances, massage area, cinema and more!
Vegan Comedy Festival
The first of its kind in the country, the UK Vegan Comedy Festival consists of the best vegan comedians all under one roof to push everyone’s laughters to the limit with their cutting-edge humour, some of which is derived from their grapples with the vegan lifestyle. Confirmed guests include, Andrew O’Neill, Carl Donnelly, Joey Brannigan, Harriet Kemsley, Alasdair Beckett-King, plus over a dozen of other up-and-coming artists inclding Michael Legge, Jim Daly, Donal Coonan, Eddy Brimson, Sonja Quita Doubleday, Nathan Hudson, James Hately, Dave Chawner, Will Setchell, Alasdair Beckett-King, Angie Belcher, Harriet Kemsley and Luke Graves.

Making healthy food as entertaining and attractive as possible to the young ones is important so at VegfestUK Brighton 2015 you’ll find a full range of family-friendly activities. Pirates of the Carob Bean Captain James Tea Cook will headline the kids cookery classes with 2 full days of exhilarating demonstrations and kitchen experiments and Andrews Leisure are bringing their Last Man Standing dance mat and Disco Dome inflatable dance floor. Why not pedal your own fruit smoothies through 2 smoothie bikes? Or enjoy magic shows throughout the day along with a range of sing-and-dance sessions followed by a treasure trail.
Cruelty Free Cosmetics
Looking for quality cosmetics and beauty, but also passionate about whether your beauty products are ethically produced in regards to animals? Cruelty-free and cosmetics can actually go hand in hand.
At Vegfest Brighton 2015 you’ll find a wonderful collection of stalls and talks on beauty. You can also see TV Presenter ‘Little Green Angel’ Anneka Svenska and amongst the illustrious vegan beauty brands at the show is JASON Natural Care, the UK’s leading natural family brand.
Join blogger and event planner Fat Gay Vegan at the nation’s gay and veggie capital for a jumbo LGBT get-together featuring music, games and a chance to make a whole lot of new friends. Why not join in with the rapid speed-meeting game for a chance to win prizes and meet like-minded people? Or go along to the LGBT Social and realise you are not the only LGBT vegan in the village!
The LifeWell Hub
A series of engaging, empowering presentations to leave you well-stocked with ideas on enhancing well-being from the inside out. Run and organised by self-healing master Richi, The LifeWell Hub serves to provide inspirations on natural healing and holistic approaches to wellbeing for an increasing amount of people who are looking inwards to discover their true selves, inner health and happiness.
This year you can look forward to a brand-new Food Village dedicated to the best vegan food, tempting not only for vegans and veggies, but also people who love their meat and dairy. The Food Village features an abundance of top-notch caterers, whose food is so tasty that they’ll have you coming back for more! With 15 specialist caterers and bars including everything from Vegan Kebabs to Vegan Caribbean cuisine.
Politicians and delegates from the UK’s major political parties will be out in force to outline their manifestos on the key issues of Animal Welfare, Food and Health, Environment and Food Sustainability at the festival which is around 6 weeks ahead of the General Elections.
The Global Food Sustainability Conference
This brand-new conference focuses on food sustainability on 2 levels: Local Solutions and Global Solutions. Each section is filled with keynote speeches, films, a panel discussion, a Q&A followed by a conclusion. This conference will be packed with tangible solutions for visitors to take home and so promising to be a highly inspirational feature.
