AK/DK are Graham Sowerby (drums and synths) and Ed Chivers (drums and synths). The shows include improvisations; ranging from the chaotic to the beautiful. Their mix of abstract electronics and raucous energy has already earned them support slots with artists as diverse as Fujiya & Miyagi and Three Trapped Tigers.

The simplicity of the line-up allows them the freedom to create improvised layers of fuzzed-up synths, delays and arpeggios, and thunderous double drums. The sound has been described as a mixture between Battles, Death From Above 1979, Raymond Scott and Neu. Their live shows move between Punk/Dance through progressive/motorik rhythms to sometimes beautiful melodic sections.
They released their first single ?Dispatch #1? (2011) on cassette through their own imprint LittleMissEcho, to critical acclaim. They now have the follow-up ?Dispatch #2? released on beautiful clear 7” vinyl, featuring the tracks ?Fallout Friedman? and ?Triangoll?
AK/DK are building a cult following; with an incredible live collaboration alongside ex-Can singer Damo Suzuki in 2011, and a host of remixes for artists such as Napoleon IIIrd, The Woo!Worths, and ManRaySky.
