As the Pride party continues on Sunday around St James Street in Kemptown, head to the ever-reliable Brighton Rocks for a guaranteed good vibe accompanied by uplifting tunes.
This year, Disco Deviant have Late Nite Tuff Guy playing on the Sunday spinning the finest disco edits to keep the party going until late.
Support comes from Disco Deviant resident, Pablo Contraband.

Alter Hour Presents Anthea & Peter Glasspool – The Arch
Alter Hour launches their residency at The Arch with an all night deep house party headlined by Anthea and Peter Glasspool.
Cocoon’s Anthea brings her bass-laden, rhythmic and dynamic selection to the party, to create a special groove and vibe to work the crowd.
Joining Anthea is Peter Glasspool, who’s played at Fabric, Back To Basics and for promoters toi toi, WetYourSelf and Undersound, as well as at Croatia’s ECHO Festival and Italy’s LOFT.
Support comes from residents HWR and Jake Nash.

CHARGED – Patterns
SuperCharged launches their brand new bass and garage party CHARGED at Patterns this month.
Launching with one of the most respected forefathers in bass and UK garage, Zed Bias, who’s back from retirement with a new collaborative project – Madd Again! Soundsystem featuring Trigga, Specialist Moss and Killa.
Expect bashment meets grime meets garage meets dancehall and beyond, in a UK style and fashion.
Support from PVC and Freerange DJs.

First Floor x Tender Hooks – Patterns
Local musos First Floor join forces with London’s party-come-label collective Tender Hooks for a bumper line-up featuring XDB and Steevio.
Hailing from Germany, XDB’s illustrious back catalogue includes releases for Sistrum, Dolly, and Echocord, and his own brainchild, Metrolux. Having pushed boundaries within the house and techno scene since the early 90s, and with a collection 10,000 records deep, you can be certain XDB will be packing the heat.
From behind his hefty stacks of modular synths, Steevio conjures live and off the cuff freeform analogue improvisations of a deep techno flavour. Founder of the highly esteemed Freerotation festival, these supernatural sets have to be felt to be believed. Support comes from First Floor’s Charles Green B2B Earl J (Tenderhooks), along with Alex Downey (Freerotaton) and others.

Jasper James & Adesse Versions – Patterns
Raised in one of the UK’s foremost electronic music meccas, son of Glasgow’s Sub Club don Harri, Jasper James made his first break DJing at his mums 40th, and currently holds the title as the youngest whippersnapper to grace the decks at Subculture. Jasper James has carved a reputation for being quite the selector, locking in a residency with radio powerhouse Rinse FM and facing a bulging tour schedule.
Joining Jasper will be the once mysterious Adesse Versions, pricking the underground with a particular Boiler Room session and a string of his so called Versions, most notably latest that foreboding cut Pride on Numbers.
Support from Creux in the club, whilst Soulector Sirkett and his merry men take over upstairs.

Disco Deviant Presents Detroit Swindle – Patterns
Disco Deviant’s first night since the venue became Patterns sees rising house stars Detroit Swindle bring their notoriously energetic DJ set to Brighton.
With a string of releases on renowned labels like Dirt Crew, Freerange and Tsuba, along with a recent Essential Mix, Detroit Swindle’s have had quite a run the last few years.
Praised for their productions with that signature shuffle and those carefully designed drops, they put as much energy into their music as they do into their choice of garment. A DJ set at Panorama Bar, Fabric or Social Club without a nifty little leopard print is after all, a missed opportunity to look awesome. Pablo Contraband will be kicking things off, getting the party started Disco Deviant style.

Dense & Pika – Patterns
Having hit the number one spot on Beatport’s techno chart, Dense & Pika have coined a unique sound of industrial techno that’s established the pair as a force on the club circuit.
Comprised of Chris Spero (previously Glimpse) and Hypercolour headman Alex Jones, the two have released a bounty of solid releases under their individual respective names.
Coming together in 2011, they started with a mysterious series of white label releases before revealing themselves on Hotflush.
Support comes from Black Fan, Westpier, and Well Rounded.

Motive Sessions – Concorde 2
Motive Sessions brings a bank holiday drum & bass extravaganza to Concorde 2, featuring Ed Rush and Lenzman.
With releases spanning over 20 years, Ed Rush is one of the current leaders of the new school drum and bass. One of the originators to bring back the dark sounds of drum and bass and push it to new levels, Ed Rush continues to make waves with each new release.
Dutch producer Lenzman’s brand of drum and bass is soulful, deep, melancholic yet fun – an essential ingredient for any good party! Last year, Lenzman released his eagerly awaited debut album, Looking At The Stars, on Metalheadz.
Joining them are Emperor B2B Prolix, LSB, MC Drs, MC Darrison, MC Junior Red and others.

Vanishing Point presents Michael Mayer – Patterns
After their launch party with Optimo and Ivan Smagghe, Vanishing Point bring Kompakt label boss Michael Mayer to Brighton for the first time, to play for 4 hours at their Bank Holiday special.
DJ, producer and remixer Michael Mayer effortlessly fuses techno, electronica, house and even cosmic disco into his sets and releases. Critically acclaimed releases include Mantasy, Touch, and Supermayer’s Save the World with Axel Schauffler.
This year, Michael Mayer’s profile has increased further, thanks to the excellent The Stickler (Mixmag’s Techno Tune of the Month for July) on the Time is Running 12” with Reinhard Voigt; the Kompakt Total residency at Space Ibiza; and a variety of headline appearances across the world.
Support from residents Teamy & Matthew Balaam for a party not to be missed.
