A weekly ‘Bring-your-own-vinyl’ session, Wax Works is a platform for music collectors to share and showcase less conventional sounds in an environment built for listening on a bespoke Ohm sound system.The laid back, classic, weird and wonderful are celebrated in an open forum for likeminded selectors who may or may not have had the chance to play out before. June 6th sees a large influx of music lovers from all over the world for Brighton Music Conference. To celebrate why not enjoy a night of solid tunes from Steve Lawler, a child of the acid house generation, an electronic artist who defies generic limitations and someone who has been signed by some of the most established recording labels. Supporting are DJ’s from Outcast as well as BeAvantgarde resident DJ’s.

Love Beat Presents: Low Steppa

Low Steppa’s tenure in the scene has been short but due to his forward thinking and intelligent production work, his popularity has risen rapidly. His Soundcloud page is becoming an essential download destination for house fans, due in part to his bootleg of Route 94 – My Love. A track that received such hype that Route 94 replaced his own version within club sets, and also gave it away for free across his social media channels, as did Rinse Fm.

Dimensions Festival Launch Party with Mount Kimbie (DJ Set), K15 + more – Patterns
The Brighton stop of Dimensions Festival’s official launch tour, fine-picking a couple of artists from the festival lineup for a get-down by the sea. Mount Kimbie (DJ Set) headline proceedings, upcoming DJ & producer K15 will be there for the true house heads and master selector Mehtola rounds off the lineup downstairs. Soulector Sirkett and friends will also be spinning upstairs!
