In the Loop, The Arch

Loopmasters and Diskordance join forces to present a drum and bass extravaganza featuring some of the most revered names in the scene.

Liquid DnB pioneer LTD Bukem will be joined by the legendary Ray Keith, who’ll take the night into harder and darker junglist territory.

 Meanwhile, Aquasky will provide more soulful and uplifting sounds combined with intricate and hard-hitting drum work.

Disco Deviant presents Motor City Drum Ensemble, Concorde 2

Following his storming debut last year, Motor City Drum Ensemble, aka Danilo Plessow, returns to Brighton for round two.

Motor City Drum Ensemble’s love of soulful house from Chicago and his namesake Detroit is evident throughout his mixes and productions. An impressive CV well advanced for his age has seen his deliver a catalogue of outstanding remixes for such names as Caribou, DJ Sprinkles, Zero 7 and Midland.

 Disco Deviant resident Pablo Contraband provides support.

13.11 Med SchoolFri 13th Nov

Med School, Komedia

The sister label of iconic Drum and Bass stable Hospital Records launches its, new night in Brighton, featuring Keeno, Royalston and Anile.

Keeno is one of the most exciting DnB DJs around whose debut LP ‘Life Cycle’ received three nominations at last year’s Drum & Bass Arena Awards.

Joining Keeno is Australia’s Royalston as part of his European album tour for ‘People on the Ground’; and Anile who’s taken the scene by storm with his debut album ‘Perspective’ and his deeper DnB sounds. Completing the line-up is MC Ruthless and label manager, Mullett.

Gerd Janson, Patterns

Gerd Janson is the quintessential DJ’s DJ, unearthing the gems that get other music lovers hot and excited.

Whether at the helm of the long-running Liquid club night at Frankfurt’s Robert Johnson with DJ comrade Thomas Hammann, dishing out simmering analog House as co-owner of label Running Back, or penning many a story for Germany’s Spex and Groove magazines, not to mention his scholarship of American studies, he seems to run on more powerful batteries than the rest of us.

The Black Madonna, Patterns

 Marea Stamper aka The Black Madonna is one of the most exciting DJs and producers around and has truly made 2015 her own.

A resident of Chicago’s Smart Bar (a position she got at the same time as Derrick Carter and the late great Frankie Knuckles), Marea was soon promoted to Creative Director.

She has since released several tracks and remixes, most recently remixing Nick Höppner’s ‘Relate’.Expect disco, Italo, house and techno all served up with great gusto.

Rhythm Junction presents Florian Kupfer & Denis Sulta, Patterns

Rhythm Junction brings together two of house music’s rising talents.

L.I.E.S.’s Florian Kupfer’s gritty, lo-fi sound as first heard on his acclaimed ‘Lifetrax’ EP is the perfect balance to Dixon Avenue Basement Jam’s Denis Sulta’s feel-good mixes and anthemic productions that have been championed by such names as Julio Bashmore, Skream and Optimo.

HNNY & Avalon Emerson, Patterns

Swedish house producer HNNY returns to Patterns following his storming appearance in June.

Having released on Pets, Local Talk & Omena, HNNY’s sound has been coined as “big xylophones, joyous piano chords, rubbery kicks, and a generally disarming sense of playfulness.”

Joining HNNY is rising star, Avalon Emerson whose production is as eclectic as her DJ sets, which feature US house, cool European techno and a sprinkling of break-laden rave, ’80s pop, Italo, and playful Belgian new beat.

promoters Clara and Teamy met on the floor of Glasgow's iconic Sub Club many moons ago. Between them, in addition to Brighton, they have promoted and played at parties in Scotland, London, Manchester, Ibiza, France and New York.
