About The Writer

Having given up her life in London as an Ad Agency Account Manager, Julie now, much more enjoyably, works as the Marketing Officer for Komedia. Comedy is her passion, and she has been performing stand-up herself for the last 3 years. Recently getting to the final of the Brighton Comedy Festival Squawkers Competition and The Max Turner Prize, she was also shortlisted for the BBC New Act of the Year Award 2014 and has made the final of Comedy Knights Fresh Comedian of the Year 2015. Apart from comedy, she likes to run along the seafront, which is preferable to the South Circular where she used to run in London.
