Komedia to Host 36 Edinburgh Fringe Comedy Preview Shows

Right now comedians across the country are frantically writing new material ready for the Holy Grail that is Edinburgh Fringe, and Brighton’s award winning comedy venue Komedia will be helping them on their way with two months of Edinburgh Fringe Festival Previews.

Throughout June and July a whopping 36 comedians will be making their way to Komedia’s Studio to try out their new shows. From old-timers including the triple Perrier-winning Alex Horne, Mock the Week star Carl Donnelly and 8 Out of 10 Cats captain John Richardson, to the newer faces of Fosters Edinburgh Comedy Best Newcomer 2012 Daniel Simonsen and Chortle’s Best Newcomer 2012 Pat Cahill.

With the majority of the tickets just £5, it’s a snip of the price you’d pay in Edinburgh and you save yourself the 7 hour train journey.

It’s well known that the 3 week festival which dominates Scotland’s capital every August is the make or break opportunity for comedians trying to crack (or continue a career in) the tough world of comedy. This is your chance to get a sneak preview of who will be the dead set favourite before the festival even starts and who might be the unknown dark horse that takes everyone by surprise!
