Ryca's Work

When: Friday 2nd  – Monday 26th August
Opening Times: Monday – Saturday: 10am – 6pm/Sunday: 12pm – 4pm
Where: Ink_d Gallery
Entry: FREE

See some amazing art at Ink_d gallery this month as lyrics from famous acts such as Kasabian, MIA, Wu-Tang Clan and Cypress Hill are transformed into pub signs as you’ve never seen them before! Artist Ryan (Ryca) Callanan, a prominent artist of the street art scene, moves away from his usual printmaking and graphics to 3D design and sign making for this exhibition.

But it’s not just Ink_d who are lucky enough to showcase this work, local pubs The Fountain Head and 3 Jolly Butchers alongside the gallery have adopted his iconic rave-style pub signs as their own! What’s more for the duration of the exhibition both pubs will be giving art work away to lucky punters when they pop in for their usual. So pop in for a pint over the next few weeks and you might walk away with a Callanan original!

With the likes of Kasabian and Fatboy Slim as long time admirers you know you’d be missing out if you don’t pop in for a visit.
