Best Things To Do This Weekend Brighton 5th - 6th December 2015

Beach Hut Advent Calendar

The beach huts along Hove seafront are a much-loved sight all year round and their owners take pride in making them eye catching. Throughout December some of them will be getting a new look as part of a very special life-sized advent calendar. For the last nine years, 24 huts have thrown open their doors for one day during December to reveal specially decorated and festive creations. The event has become very popular and has the added bonus of a ‘true meaning of Christmas’ vibe. It is also great fun since some of the owners even put on quizzes and stage performances and you get to see something different everyday.

Christmas at Churchill Square Shopping Centre

The Christmas spirit awakens this weekend at Churchill Square Shopping Centre. You can expect festive decorations, longer opening hours and loads of activities for children at this year’s Christmas Grotto. Father Christmas will be making an appearance in his kitchen whilst preparing a giant Christmas Pudding. Play spot the Pudding, join in the colouring-in zone, play with puzzles, plus many more games along the way. Besides, the entry for the Christmas Grotto also includes an entry gift and a photo with Santa himself!
