Things to do this Weekend in BrightonChristmas Artists Open Houses – Chat to local artists and have a sneaky peak around some of Brighton’s most interesting homes, whilst viewing an amazing selection of individual, unique arts and crafts. What better way to do your Christmas shopping than by sipping mulled wine, eating mince pies before blazing hearths, whilst selecting gifts for family, friends and the odd treat for your self!

Christmas Grotto – Churchill Square are once again putting on a magical grotto experience for children. This year take your little ones on a very special journey to the North Pole before meeting Santa himself.  

Yuletide: Christmas Gift Collection – ART5 Gallery are delighted to present their latest exhibition, an exciting showcase of five of the gallery’s favourite artists’ work in perfect miniature, offering ideal gifts for the festive season with this special collection of ceramics, paintings and prints.

Tremendous Tipi Christmas Festival – Brighton Music Hall’s terrace plays host once again to several huge tipis set against the backdrop of Brighton beach. Enjoy live music from the house band and dine with family style roasts and Saturday Winter fayre. Explore the Tremendous Tipi village including the Winter Warmer log cabin, pop up chocolate shop and visit Father Christmas in his magical raindrop caravan.

Beach Hut Advent Calendar – Every night during Advent a different beach hut will open it’s doors to reveal a festive surprise, helping us to count down the days to Christmas. Mark the journey to Christmas on the beach with art, mince pies and warming drinks.


The Wind in the WillowsThings to do this Weekend in Brighton – The perfect family Christmas show! Alan Bennett’s script sparkles with humour and the much loved characters of Badger, Mole, Ratty and Toad are once again brought to life for our delight and are pitted against the dreaded weasels and stoats from The Wild Wood. Also on at 7.45pm.

Fourth Annual Brighton Christmas Covers Party – …it’s back, it’s festive and it’s at Sticky Mike’s Frog Bar for the second year running! Lots of bands playing lots of Christmas covers!

Jools Holland –  Jools Holland & His Rhythm & Blues Orchestra will be bringing the greatest boogie-woogie party around the UK once again with his annual autumn / winter tour featuring tracks spanning his entire solo career plus British icon Marc Almond and Rumer, singer/songwriter and vocalist extraordinaire.

Revenge Christmas Disney party – Come along as Revenge is transformed into the Magic Kingdom, with Disney walkaround characters and the odd Disney anthem played too! On the main floor Revenge’s resident DJs play messed up pop and in the bar expect the UK’s best house DJs playing deep, bouncy vocal house.

Warehouse x AAR! x Rhythm Junction presents Marquis Hawkes, Max Graef & Lorca – Warehouse & AAR! teaming up again, this time inviting Rhythm Junction Records along for the ride, with a superb club line-up plus DJ’s playing the best in classic funk, soul and disco.

Acid Box Presents: Black Light White Light + Ceyote + BullyBones + Tusks -Black Light White Light create catchy melodies swirled in distorted tremolo and chiming reverb guitars, groovy bass lines and pounding beats in a Spectorish 60’s universe with a modern Scandinavian twist.
