Remember remember the 5th of November is a great excuse to wrap up in your cosiest winter clothes and enjoy some fireworks, bonfires and celebrations. There’s plenty going on, so here is our list of events for Bonfire Night Brighton and beyond.
Shocktober Fest Finale & Fireworks Festival
Tulleys Farm – Sun 2nd Nov
This is an awesome night out, Enjoy all seven Shocktober Fest Haunted Attractions and then the most spectacular Fireworks to Music show by Dragon Fireworks, finalists in the 2008 UK Firework display competition.
Great Food, Bonfires, Great Fireworks, Street Theatre, Great Frights – if you want them!

Lewes Bonfire Night
Lewes – Wed 5th Nov
Lewes Bonfire Night, or the Lewes Bonfire Night Celebrations, is the biggest celebrated Fifth November Event in the world, and is held in the usually peaceful county town of Lewes, East Sussex, every year on 5th November, and the carnival or festival is known as either the Lewes Bonfire Night Celebrations, Lewes Bonfire Night or just simply the Fifth. It is the biggest and the only proper bonfire night celebration left of its kind in the Uk.
Processions start around 5.10pm

Worthing Lions Club Fireworks
Worthing – Wed 5th Nov
In response to overwhelming and popular demand from the 2013 event the Worthing Lions Club Fireworks night will be held again this year. It will be held in conjunction with Barties Presents Markets, Bill Coles FunFair and the Worthing Town Centre initiative.
Parade starts at 6.30pm, fireworks at 10pm.

Fireworks, music and laser show. Food, sweets, popcorn, drinks and children’s rides.

Family Firework Spectacular
The Nevill Sports Ground, Hove – Sat 8th Nov
A truly spectacular firework display set to music and designed to be suitable for everyone, especially families with children. The display is produced by Brighton Fireworks who have generously sponsored the event. It will last approximately 25 minutes and is choreographed to a fantastic musical soundtrack. Food stalls will be open all evening, and glow sticks and flashing toys will be on sale at stalls inside the grounds.

Chailey Bonfire Celebrations
Chailey, East Sussex – Sat 8th Nov
Chailey bonfire society is one of the oldest bonfire societies in East Sussex. The fireworks evening is designed as a family event and themed towards the children to celebrate the 5th November in a fun and safe way. The torch lit procession usually comprises of steam engines, vintage vehicles and themed children’s floats.

Shoreham Beach Family Bonfire Fireworks
Shoreham Beach – Sat 8th Nov
The Shoreham Beach Family Bonfire and Fireworks promises to be another great fun night out. Here is what is planned for this year; a balloon procession featuring the Beach Bateria Samba Band, A huge Bonfire on the beach (the only authorised bonfire on Shoreham beach), professional fireworks display, Heart FM angels with giveaways, Kids Zone including Bonfire inspired face painting, tea-cup ride, colouring competition plus more.
