Expect stellar tattoo artists, engaging entertainment, thoughtful workshops and exhibits, unique vendors, and a fun and lively atmosphere at 2015’s Brighton Tattoo Convention

The convention kicks on Friday 20th February at 3pm and will fill up the largest exhibition space in the South of England, at Brighton’s Hilton Metropole, with tattooing, competitions, performances, seminars, workshops, and gallery shows all conveniently located on the seafront in the centre of the city.

Take your pick from over 350 world class artists from 16 countries including Australia, Mexico, Brazil, Japan, Croatia, Poland, Scandinavia, Italy, Greece and the US as well as a focus on fresh new talent from the UK.

US – Dan Smith, Megan Massacre, Bugs, Eric Gonzalez, BJ Betts and Big Meas 
Greece – Dirty Roses and Sake Tattoo Crew
Spain – Ramon Maiden
UK – Valerie Vargas and Stewart Robson bring their new studio, Modern Classic and up and coming artists including Math, Craig Ridley, Swambo, Kodie Smith, and Ryan Evans. The Godfathers of UK Tattooing Lal Hardy and George Bone.

Every year The Brighton Tattoo Convention features top quality tattoo competitions but this year the focus is purely on work completed at the show and will be independently judged by tattooists. This year’s completely bespoke artist awards are being designed and handmade by Dale at Rotary Works.

It’s not just about the ink! There will be a myriad of interesting stalls selling trade supplies, reference books, vintage clothing, bespoke jewellery, unique original artwork, and show merchandise. You can even get a new look from barbers especially flown in from California!

The soundtrack to the whole weekend will be provided by Brighton’s very own Stay Sick DJ‘s then get your groove on with live music legends The Meteors on Friday night. On Saturday prepare to party with The Sex Pistols Experience, as well as King Salami and the Cumberland 3 and then finish off your weekend on Sunday at the free after show party, hosted by the Brighton Rockabilly Rumble Club.

With more of a focus on food and drink than ever before you can look forward to handmade vegan cakes, great coffee, and specially created cocktails, alongside a bar that’s open until 2 am each night to you can party into the wee hours.
