You may just want to munch on chocolate all weekend but put down those Easter eggs for just a bit and head outside as there’s lots to do! With everything from Easter egg hunts for the kids to a drive-in cinema there’s something for everyone in our guide to Easter Weekend Brighton 2015.
Three Dimensions – Group Show – Ink_d Gallery
With a selection of ceramics, sculpture, 3D collage and assemblages, the exhibition features work from well known artists Matt Smith, Dan Baldwin, Paul Scott, Gilles Buxton, Maria Rivans, Petro, Andy Doig, Graham Carter, Benjamin Murphy, Alex Binnie, Enzo Marra, Sarah Shaw, Req and Hutch.

Easter Eggsplorer Trail – Borde Hill Garden
Become an explorer in the beautiful gardens at Borde Hill! Hunt the hidden creatures and clues in the Garden, have fun solving riddles. A varied and educational trail for all ages. Giant garden games and activities for visitors young and old!

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny – Brighton Garden Centre
The Easter Bunny will be hopping into Brighton Garden Centre’s restaurant soon! Our bouncy friend will be hosting a very special breakfast, with an Easter biscuit for you to decorate any way you like, a Lindt chocolate treat, and your very own cuddly toy.

Sussex County Cricket Club has launched a treasure hunt that will involve 10 golden oysters hidden on the beaches between Brighton Pier and Hove Lawns. Each oyster contains an invitation to see an upcoming NatWest T20 Blast fixture at the BrightonandHoveJobs.com

Brighton & Hove Food and Drink Festival – Easter Weekender – Various Venues
Brighton’s food festival team have announced the delicious line-up of events for the first half of 2015 including six days of food and drink around Easter. Easter weekend highlights include the Big Sussex Market on New Road and the Rockinghorse Children’s Easter Egg Hunt.

Dawn Chorus – Marcus Coates – Fabrica
This immersive, multi-screen film installation features nineteen singers who uncannily recreate birdsong forming a chorus that accurately simulates the sound and timings of a natural dawn chorus. With each singer depicted in an everyday location Dawn Chorus is as much a portrait of British society as it is of the natural world.

Curiosity Hub Workshop: Build Big – Catapults! –Hanover Community Centre
How far can you fling a marshmallow?! Learn about the physics of forces, motion and energy and create your own catapults out of craft materials in this fun workshop. Try out various designs and experiment with lever length and energy storage to find the best marshmallow ‘flinger’!

Passion Of Christ – Lawns of St Peter’s Church
A moving portrayal, faithful to the original scripture, of the days leading up to Jesus’ arrest, death and resurrection. Performed to the public free over the Easter weekend, the cast and crew are volunteers from the local community. Written and Directed by James Burke-Dunsmore.

Brighton Bank Holiday Market – Brighton Racecourse
