Free Things to do in Brighton in June 2015
Summer if finally here and with it comes a whole host of fun outdoor (and indoor) events across the City. Here’s our guide to all of the free things to do in Brighton in June 2015 so you can have fun and still save your pennies. We’ve got everything from dog shows to naked bike rides, enjoy!
Summer Exhibition by Barbara Shields – Naked Eye Gallery
Having spent the first 25 years of her life in Rajastan, India, Barbara was surrounded by vibrant colours. These bright and vivid colours resonated in her and remain the main source of her inspiration today. In the Summer Exhibition, Barbara will be showing her brilliant and intense still life paintings and landscapes.

Picture Time and Story – Hove Museum every Thurs
Explore the magical machines of Rowland Emett, make a picture and listen to a story. Ages 2 – 5 years.

The biggest gathering of Skinheads in the UK annual event. takes place over a full weekend in Brighton England, the birthplace of the Skinhead culture in the 1960′s. Featuring the very best ska dj’s on the scene, and at least 9 bands playing, from as far away as USA, Denmark and across the UK and Ireland.

Bazaar Craft Fair – Brighton Unitarian Church
At this fair you will find vintage clothing, handmade products by designer makers and printmakers, folk art, crafts, ceramics, unique homewares, antiques, records, books, natural cosmetics, massage, cream teas and a baby play area.

The Eco Technology Show – The American Express Community Stadium
The Eco Technology Show (ETS) is an annual UK environmental technology conference, highlighting how embracing innovation in technology and low carbon solutions can save money and deliver genuine benefits to businesses, cities and communities on-going.

The Level Summer Festival – The Level
The Level Summer Festival is a one day festival in the park with heap loads of fun for all…Live music, creative workshops, great food and drink, community performances, disc golf sessions, swing dance lessons, fairground rides, children’s entertainment, Capoiera demonstrations, Flash Mon Yoga, a community market and lots more.

Bark In The Park – Queen’s Park
The Queen’s Park Dog Show, better known as Bark in the Park, bursts into life on Sunday 14 June, 2015. Brought to you by the Friends of Queen’s Park and their co-sponsors Coastway Veterinary Group, this year’s Bark will feature two parallel competitions: the Fun Ring and the Pedigree Ring.

Brighton Naked Bike Ride 2015 – The Level
Every year since 2006, Brighton has joined World Naked Bike Rides around the world to celebrate cycling and the human body. The ride demonstrates the vulnerability of cyclists on the road and is a protest against car culture. Join us for a naked lunch, a seaside bike ride in the buff, a paddle in the sea and a naturist beach picnic!

Fat Dog Party 3 -Green Door Store
FAT DOG Presents is dedicated to showing you the best new ideas in music, film and food. There will be live visuals concocted for the acts for you to feast your puppy eyes on as well as a plethora of short films. Harry and Kane’s Cookfest Extravaganza will be back!! With another banging food spread for you starving hounds.

See the very best Edinburgh Fringe comedy before Edinburgh Fringe has even begun. TOM’s Edinburgh Comedy Previews invites acclaimed and upcoming acts to showcase brand new material. All awaits them: packed houses; showers of awards; TV fame but for now, all they aspire to achieve is your laughter.

Emmaus Brighton & Hove: Open Day & Summer Fair – Emmaus Brighton & Hove
Bring your family & friends to a fun day of stalls, food, live entertainment and raffles – plus all the usual bargains in Emmaus’ vintage shops & Greenhouse, and gorgeous French wares from their sister community. Rain or shine, there will be something for everyone.

Brunswick Town Art Fair – Brunswick Square
A local community event set in the Regency splendour of Brunswick Square Gardens on Sunday, June 28. Now in its fourth year, the fair features local artists exhibiting paintings, prints, photographs, cards, ceramics, sculpture and jewellery. All the high quality, but affordable, work is for sale. Admission is free and refreshments are available.

Picnic in the Park – Queen’s Park
A day of fun for all of the family with a program of live music on the main stage, kids entertainment including sing-a-long and Punch and Judy, bouncy castle, circus school, games and free tennis coaching try outs with a professional coach. There will also be food stalls galore offering delicious treats from around the world as well as the more traditional fare of hotdogs and burgers.
