Saltdean Lido Gala Ball – Safeguard the future of the Lido!

Recently announced as one of the ‘Seven Wonders of the English Seaside’, in the golden age of lidos in the 1930s, Saltdean Lido was a popular and lively location full of splashing kids, Summer fun and sun worship. Sadly everything came to an end when it closed its doors and in the years following it fell into a state of disrepair. Luckily Saltdean Lido CIC, a volunteer group, took on the site back in 2010 and are committed to raising the funds required to see the entire lido site brought back into full public use.
There are exciting times ahead and to date a significant amount of money has been raised, with the newly refurbished swimming pool set to re-open in Summer 2016, but there’s still a long way to go as £10 million is required overall to bring the lido fully back to life, that’s where you come in…
You can be part of safeguarding the future of this iconic lido and have a great night out at the same time by attending the Saltdean Lido Gala Ball, a spectacular black tie event filled with glitz, glam, fine food, wonderful drinks and first class entertainment from famous international band – Toploader!
The evening includes a drinks reception, fabulous three course dinner, a full evening of entertainment and plenty of opportunities to pick up some amazing prizes as well as help raise money for the Saltdean Lido CIC. Juice FM Breakfast Host Dan Gasser will also be taking to the decks to keep you dancing until 1AM!
