Take a stroll down the legendary Brighton Pier! Ride on the death defying super booster, visit the horror hotel or win a giant cuddly toy on the Hook a Duck. Alternatively you could just relax in a deckchair and enjoy the gorgeous views with some fish and chips.
The Pier started off in 1823 as the Old Chain Pier, primarily used as a landing stage for passenger ships that sailed from Dieppe in France. Realising its commercial value, the owners began charging an entry fee of 2d and introducing kiosks selling souvenirs and confectionery as well as entertainment stalls with fortune tellers and silhouetteists.
The pleasure Pier is one of Brighton’s premier attractions and an essential for any trip to Brighton!
