The Western Front’s new 20th Century Rocks room brings vibrant, retro, kooky colour to the centre of the City!

Situated just a hop, skip and a jump away from Brighton’s shopping centre, Churchill Square, The Western Front Brighton is always busy and there’s plenty of reasons why! How about a huge sun soaked terrace for the Summer in the heart of the City? Or a packed events calendar of free music and club nights? Or maybe it’s their regular Happy Hours which run Sunday to Thursday 8pm – 11pm?

The Western Front just got even better with the re-opening of their 20th Century Rocks room. Head upstairs and enter a time warp celebration and trip down memory lane with last century’s icons and inventions. Expect a room packed full of art, photographs and artefacts from the end of the millennium, all designed to trigger childhood memories and conversational rambles into the past. Also be sure to check out the Ant Fox Gallery’s icon portraits, an array of art for sale featuring the musical heroes of The Western Front’s own staff with the likes of Elvis, John Lennon, Des’ree and GG Allin to name but a few! If you’re looking for somewhere to host a rockin’ party then why not hire the 20th Century Rocks room all to yourself? Just contact the pub for details.

The new upstairs isn’t the only thing that’s changed, there’s also a brand new cocktail menu inspired by the prohibition era and 21st Century creations based around the 6 main spirits. With plenty to choose from including the Citroen Cosmopolitan, The 1940’s Flying Tiger , The Windmill, Margaritas, the Scofflaw, and the Brandy Classic and many more.

The pub’s downstairs keeps its warm, cosy, homely atmosphere making it the perfect place to catch up with friends or enjoy a lazy Sunday lunch.

Don’t miss The Western Front’s terrific range of free events including open Mic nights every Tuesday, Soul Casserole DJ’s blend up a mix of Motown, Northern Sould and more every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month and Russ Rockwell knocks out a cool collective mix of beats, breaks and old school hip hop every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month. Be sure to check our calendar for an up to date list of events.
