Food for Friends – New Mezze Sharing Platter
17-18 Prince Albert Street
Crowned as Brighton town’s most mouth-watering vegetarian restaurant, Food for Friends stands unrivalled by no other; neatly embedded in the heart of the historic South Laine. Opening its doors to all and dishing up substantial servings of superbly prepared vegetarian cuisine, using only the best locally sourced ingredients.
With a refreshingly mellow and laid back atmosphere, it’s perfect for lazy afternoon lunches or decadent dinners with friends. Paired with a dynamically friendly and fast-moving workforce, food appears at your table before you have time to re-examine the long list of delights staring back at you from across the menu. Exotically rich and decoratively displayed, and with a fantastic choice of delicious dishes and scrumptious appetisers the food is truly exceptional.
A tempting new treat available is their lunch time sharing platter for two, offering a tasty medley of quinoa stuffed baby peppers, hazelnut and lentil dumplings, sweet tofu pockets stuffed with shiitake rice and pine nuts and a selection of tahini, beetroot, zataar and sour cream dips. Included in their delicious deal is a choice of two of their fabulous homemade desserts, including their deconstructed passion fruit and vanilla cheesecake with mojito fluid gel, fresh passion fruit and mint sorbet and their Molten chocolate pudding with salted caramel sauce, cardamom ice cream and crushed pistachios. Top it all off with a carafe of wine, this is certainly a guilty pleasure not to miss out on. For such a selection of great food, prices fair considerably low, with their lunch time sharing deals starting at £35 for two. A further feast of edible thrills are available from their day to day menu and having recently procured a well-earned place in the 2014 Good Food Guide, Food for Friends continues to break the mould in providing Brighton with exquisite vegetarian food fit for a King.
