Kokoro Sushi – Japanese Restaurant
Kokoro Sushi is the latest addition to Brighton’s diverse collection of restaurant and take-away services. It is a new trendy Japanese restaurant which offers a varied sushi and bento menu full of fresh high quality products at affordable prices.
Kokoro is a chained business with several branches located in areas such as Dublin and London. The latest addition is at 57 North Street, directly in the town centre of Brighton. Situated amongst many other food chains, the unique Japanese restaurant provides a pleasant change of scenery on the busy business filled street. The sushi shop is reasonably small which suggests that the predominant service will be towards food to-go. This seems ideal for the location, offering weekday workers or weekend tourists healthy and quick meals. However, the small restaurant is decorated with traditional Japanese artwork and provides several tables and bar chairs to enjoy your meal during the relaxed atmosphere.
The copious menu consists of hot food, sashimi sets, sushi sets, salads, sides, soup and a range of party set platters. The hot dishes include choices of chicken, beef, salmon, pork, prawn, tofu or vegetable. All mains are served with rice or noodles and are available in small or medium sizes which vary in price from £1.95 to £6.25. The sashimi sets are available in salmon, tuna or a deluxe assortment set, these all differ in prices depending on the set pieces which range from £.4.25 to £9.95. There are over 20 choices of sushi sets, such as the popular california roll set or the adventurous tuna, eel, prawn and octopus; all sets vary in cost from £1.95 to £7.95. This vast selection of healthy dishes and hot meals will leave you fuller for longer. Popular choices are the perfectly flavored sweet and sour chicken hot dish and the tuna and salmon delight sushi set.
Sushi is often considered to be a special treat for the occasional meal, but with generous portions and reasonable prices, this justifies being able to indulge in it more often and continue to return until you have tried everything from the menu!
