When two sisters from Indianapolis, Lily and Madeleine Jurkiewicz dropped their surname to be known simply as the acoustic duo Lily & Madeleine, they probably didn’t realise that it would be more than their name which would capture the public eye.

Sparked by the surprise success of the understated black and white video for their debut track ‘In The Middle’, these young ladies have gone from strength to strength with the release of their delicately endearing debut EP ‘Weight of The Globe’ in January, followed by their serene full-length debut album, Lily & Madeleine last October on Asthmatic Kittens Label.

Their sleek vocal harmonies and stripped back sound draw obvious comparisons to Fleet Foxes, First Aid Kit and Camera Obscura, which is certainly not a bad crowd to be grouped with!

Be sure to catch them on their UK mini-tour before they head back to the US after their Brighton finale at Sticky Mike’s Frog Bar. Tickets available through our website HERE.
