Faulty Towers The Dining Experience Is Back For Fringe 2016
The Waterfront Hotel
Thurs 26-Sun 29 May 2016
Tickets £49.00 -£55 (all tickets include a 3-course meal and 2-hour interactive show)
Due to a packed touring schedule, this five-star homage to TV’s Fawlty Towers is back for just five shows at this, its sixth Brighton Fringe. Tickets are on sale now and gift vouchers are available too.
With two-thirds of the show improvised, anything can happen as guests become diners in the ‘Faulty Towers’ restaurant… Waited upon by Basil, Sybil and Manuel, expect shambolic service and a “70s-style 3-course meal served with ‘charm, comedy and culinary chaos” (The Reviews Hub, Edinburgh Fringe 2015).
– “Faulty Towers the Dining Experience will feed your need for world-class comedy, nourish your soul with howling laughter and having you begging the hotel staff to extend your stay.” (Perth Now, Fringe World 2016)
– “This has to be one of the picks of the Fringe… worth every penny (and insult).” (Rip It Up, Adelaide Fringe 2016)
Internationally acclaimed by audiences and critics alike, the show is touring the world again in 2016, taking in exotic locales like Sydney Opera House and Raffles Singapore.
It’s also in the fourth year of its London West End residency, where it ranks consistently high in Tripadvisor’s Top London Theatre listings and holds TripAdvisor’s 2015 Certificate of Excellence.
Nine teams of cast now tour the world, virtually non-stop. The cast for Brighton Fringe 2016 features Jonathon Saunders as Basil, Karina Garnett as Sybil, and local performer Oliver Harrison as Manuel. The show is an affectionate homage to Fawlty Towers the TV series written by John Cleese and Connie Booth; their original TV scripts are not used in Faulty Towers The Dining Experience.
