Kemp Thai

If you like Thai food and want it to take away, then look no further. Kemp Thai may not be the cheapest in town, but you definitely get what you pay for with authentic Thai cooking!

All of the dishes taste very fresh and are packed with flavour. Why not try the house specialities including Mossman curry and prawn tempura, which are highly recommended.

  1. I lived in Thailand for a year and am therefore well aquainted with Thai food. Despite the many (many!) Thai restaurants around it is still hard to find good, genuine, Thai food in the UK. Sopar is the closest I’ve found yet. I’ve been here a handful of times and the food is always fresh with good quantities. Its not gourmet eating but its what you would get in Bangkok and the prices are competetive (£5-8 for most dishes). The staff are always very pleasant and helpful.
Try the steamed fish dishes, and the somtam.
