Amazing Bubble Man

Brighton Fringe Family & Kids Highlights 2016Louis Pearl has been thrilling audiences for 30 years with the art, magic, science of bubbles. An Ed Fringe favourite, he sells out every year. Louis explores the dynamics of bubbles, combining comedy, artistry, audience participation and enough spellbinding bubble tricks to keep all ages mesmerised.

From square bubbles, fog-filled bubbles, giant bubbles, volcanoes, tornados and trampolines to people in bubbles, the Amazing Bubble Man conjures shrieks of laughter and gasps of amazement from all.

Arr We There Yet?

Brighton Fringe Family & Kids Highlights 2016A riproaring and swashbuckling adventure in which three sailors hit the high seas in search of treasure! A scallywag pirate, a muscular sailor and a chef with a seafood allergy make for a hopeless crew, as they fight for the title of Captain aboard the ship. These acrobatic pirates turn ship-life upside down! Walking the plank becomes the high flying teeterboard, cooking for the crew involves juggling knives and steering the ship spinning upside down in the roue cyr!

Mr Pineapple Head

Brighton Fringe Family & Kids Highlights 2016A family clown theatre show. Mr Pineapple Head works in the style of a silent clown, performing physical comedy and slapstick routines to music. Genuinely funny, professional silliness! It’s a Brunswick Fringe tradition!

The Sentence Snatchers: A Terribly Twisted Yarn

Brighton Fringe Family & Kids Highlights 2016What happens to unfinished sentences? Join the deliciously devious Sentence Snatchers as we trip, tangle and tongue twist our way through the fantastical town of Loose End, where the SynTax is so expensive no one dare speak, UNTIL NOW!

Jam packed with music and mischief, puppets and puns and featuring the voices of local school and refugee children, Flat Pack Productions present an innovative modern fairytale for children aged 7-107.

James Campbell’s Comedy 4 Kids

Beards! Beards! Beards!

From New Zealand’s award-winning company Trick of the Light Theatre (‘The Bookbinder’) comes a tale of one young girl’s increasingly inventive efforts to grow the world’s most magnificent beard.

Armed with bubble bath and canned spaghetti, join a madcap and hilarious musical romp, as our plucky young heroine shakes up social rules and attempts to answer the questions that have puzzled mankind since the dawn of the beard.

Baby Loves Disco’s Beach Ball

Into the Water

Brighton Fringe Family & Kids Highlights 2016A rib-tickling, inclusive and fun dance theatre experience complete with moving lab tables, fart jars, cows and test tubes.

Join Volta Flatulence, Caroline Windybottom and Daisy Parphead in the Windibops laboratory to investigate flatulence (yes, we mean farts), and if it has an impact on global warming.

Three talented performers move in this comical, fun world to combine high-quality dance, humour and some strange sounds, smells and amusing characters.

Children’s Area: The Den

Brighton Fringe Family & Kids Highlights 2016The Den is a new purpose-built family-friendly area at The Warren. Bringing together a strong community of children’s charities, workshops and local business owners, The Den will provide play facilities and creative projects.

The Den will encompass a beautiful covered play area and a spacious, colourful outdoor space filled with toys and play equipment, providing a safe space for children to play freely as well as a space for creative workshops and local businesses to showcase their products.

Funk The Family Festival

Featuring an outdoor stage brimming with brilliant bands, our Cirque Du Funk big top of top-notch family shows, the infamous Club Tropicana DJ tent, fabulous walkabout performers, delicious food, a fully licensed bar and much more. Woodland Tribe

Brighton Fringe Family & Kids Highlights 2016Help create a unique adventure playground! Over the course of Brighton Fringe, children and adults of all ages can use hammers, nails, saws, rope and a huge quantity of wood to co-create the play space of their dreams! Evening sessions include a free drink in the ticket price.

Build a den, help construct the play castle, or make something small to take home. Each session of two hours is a dynamic mix of design and build. There is a maximum of 30 places per session so book early!

The Amazing Adventures of Little Red

Brighton Fringe Family & Kids Highlights 2016The SMASH HIT family musical returns. A girl in a red hood must defeat an evil queen and save the world; featuring songs, wolfish mayhem and a Supersheep wannabe called Shadwell.

Edinburgh Fringe First Nominee. Originally commissioned for RWCMD, this magical reworking of the classic tale features a sheep who won’t follow the flock, a grandma taking stock and is chock full of songs from award winning Williams and Ross.
