Brighton’s once again got the best on offer this Halloween and, as always, it’s more treat than trickFrom family friendly ghost walks to blood curdling satanic circuses, check out our guide and choose the right haunt for you this Halloween.

Shocktober Scream Park – Tulleys Farm

The multi-award winning Tulleys Shocktober Fest will feature 4 new attractions and a record 8 ‘haunts’ in total this year.Come and enjoy the two live music stages, award winning street theatre and scrumptious food, all wrapped up in a friendly festival atmosphere!

discover skelsDiscover skeletons! –  Booth Museum

A drop-in discovery day looking at the skeleton collections of the Booth Museum. Bring in your finds and learn about preparing skeletons, reconstructing fossil animals and the mechanics of skeletons.

BordehillHalloween Week – Bordehill Garden

Complete the spooky Halloween trail around the Garden, Meet the resident witch or wizard and collect a treat! Visit the haunted marquee for face-painting, craft activities, and other spooktakular fun. Don’t forget the Adventure Playground, lakes and parkland!

Ghost Walk

Ghost Walk of the Lanes – The Druid’s Head, Brighton Place

We always enjoy this most haunted night of fun and frights! Brighton’s finest Ghost Walkers lead a ghoulish tour of the most haunted parts of The Lanes. The early evening walks are aimed at family but not exclusively, with a few ghoulish goodies for the children to chomp on.

Spring barn farmSpring Barn Spooktacular – Spring Barn Farm
Calling all witches, wizards, ghosts and ghouls! Things are getting a little bit spooky (but not too scary!) down at Spring Barn Farm, join us for lots of Spooktacular fun including: Petrified Pumpkin Carving, Terrible Tattoo Parlour, Creepy Crafty Corner, Cauldron Quiz. As well as all the fun of the farm, with indoor and outdoor play, and lots of lovely animals to meet. Perfect for very little ones.

Cabinet of Curiosities: Preston Manor after Dark – Preston Manor

The Halloween Lantern Walk will be on Saturday 31 October. The event is for families – and children can enter the best home made lantern competition, and the best fancy- dress competition. There’ll be a modest prize for each! Camper Vanatics are coming who’ll sell bratwurst hot dogs and hot drinks, and there’s a story-teller to come and amuse the children.

Vanishing point HalloweenVanishing Point with Krystal Klear & Justin Robertson – Patterns

Vanishing Point gets spooky with a Halloween special ft. rising house star Krystal Klear and the legendary Justin Robertson. To celebrate the launch of Robertson’s acclaimed LP ‘Everything is Turbulence’, Vanishing Point joins forces with Skint Records, with founder Damian Harris (Midfield General) and Matt King playing alongside residents. As it’s Halloween, dressing up is strongly recommended, with treats (not tricks) for the best costumes.

Satans Circus

Satan’s Circus –  The Joker in Brighton

After the sell-out success of the first Satan’s Circus show in April, Riddles in the Dark returns for a Halloween special of truly terrifying proportions! Fusing elements of truly-twisted live performance art, blood curdling installations and immersive games, the Joker’s venue is transformed into the real stuff of nightmares. This is not just a show, but an entire interactive and immersive experience.

Throwing together a 3 night extravaganza in the name of all things Halloween, Proud Cabaret Brighton present their Twisted Fairy Tales Chronicles. Whether you’re looking for dinner or just drinks with the show spectacle, prepare to be taken into the dark depths of your favourite fables as you encounter the tragic tales of Alice, Little Red and many more. There’ll be cabaret cavorts, burlesque romps and beautiful scary darlings for you to marvel at.

Fear On the Pier – Brighton Pier

I’m sure you’d agree, from that picture, it’s likely to be a terrifying night. There’s unlimited rides all night long, exclusive entry to Horror Bar with Guest DJs and Free Halloween punch, trick or treats, live action horror and scares. The pièce de résistance is the ‘walk along the ocean’ and ‘1,700 feet of fear’. This is one not to miss.

Mary Beth & Friends – The Pit
