Volks railway is the world’s oldest operating electric railway, opened on 4th August 1883. It takes up to eighty passengers along the beach from the Palace Pier to Black Rock and Brighton Marina. Volks is Old school entertainment at it’s best and great if you’re not feeling up to the Marina trek.
